Today I wanted to give you a little tip that is GUARATEED to increase your conversions.

Quite a long mail today, but I think the effort of reading it will be more than worth i. 

This is something I found out about some time ago and now use all the time.

OK enough of the preamble, what is the secret.

What I am talking about is the use of exit splashes.

Im sure you know what Im talking about; the little box that pops up when you are exiting from some webpages, giving you the chance to look at another offer.

I dont know, you may have been p*ssed off with these in the past

...usually because someone is using too many of them or offering something you have got no interest in.

However when used correctly they can significantly improve the efficiency of the traffic coming to your offer.

Lets just have a look at the maths for a moment.

You set up your squeeze page (without an exit splash ) and send 100
clicks to it. 

You achieve a respectable 50% conversion and you are a happy little bunny.

Great result no doubt.

However now lets introduce an exit splash.

If 50 people are subscribing, even I can work out that leaves 50 people exiting who will see your exit splash offer.

Of course some of those people just wont want to be bothered and exit.

So lets say just half go through to the second offer (thats 25 if you were wondering).

OK, so we now have 25 people seeing the second offer.

Again for simplicity, lets say the second offer also converts at 50%.

So half the 25 seeing the 2nd offer subscribe.

If we were taking this literally, that would mean 12.5 people.

(I could make some joke about a small person, but as Im vertically challenged myself Ill resist!)

Lets round the number down to be on the conservative side. We are talking of an extra 12 subscribers.

So now our 100 clicks have harvested a total of 62 subscribers rather than 50 (i.e. converted at 62% rather than 50%).

Obviously I have used round figures here, but you get the drift Im sure.

Of course extra subscribers will mean extra people seeing, and investing in your upsells.

For this extra efficiency, you only need two things:

 - a second squeeze page and offer
 - exit splash coding

So there you go, a simple little secret that can significantly increase the efficiency of the clicks you send to your offer.
